How Do I Add a Contact to My Samsung Phone

This wikiHow teaches you how to add a new contact to your Samsung Galaxy phone.

   Open the Phone app. It's the green icon with a white phone receiver inside. You'll usually find it at the bottom of the home screen. This opens the dialpad.

   Enter the new contact's phone number.

   Tap Add to Contacts . It's at the top of the screen.

   Select where to save the contact. If this phone number belongs to an existing contact, select Update existing. If this contact is new, tap Create contacts.

   Enter the contact's details. You can enter as much or as little information as you wish. It's a good idea to at least enter a name and phone number or email address into the provided blanks.

   Tap Save . Your new or updated contact is now ready to use.

  Don't worry! Just click "Set As Default". You could click "Just Once" but by clicking "Set As Default", the message will no longer show and it will save to your Google contacts. If you don't understand, I recommend clicking "Set As Default", if this doesn't satisfy you, just change it in your settings.
